I’m an experienced and passionate English Literature tutor with over 2 years of dedicated teaching experience. I achieved 8As and 1C at G.C.E. O/Ls, including an A in English Literature, and completed my G.C.E. A/Ls in the Biological Science stream. I have also completed a Diploma in Applied Sciences and am currently pursuing a degree in Medical Biotechnology at BMS, while having completed 8 years of IWMS learning in Speech and Drama. My diverse academic background allows me to bring a well-rounded approach to teaching and learning.

I have taught students from different learning levels and focus on making Literature enjoyable, approachable, and easy to understand while preparing students confidently for examinations. My classes go beyond simply explaining poems, novels, and dramas; I break down texts through detailed analysis of themes, characters, literary devices, context, and deeper meanings while encouraging students to develop their own interpretations and critical thinking skills.
I help students improve their essay writing, answer structure, quotation usage, analytical skills, and approach to different question types through guided discussions, text analysis, past-paper practice, timed writing, revision, and personalised feedback. I adapt my teaching methods according to each student’s learning pace, strengths, and weaknesses.
My goal is not simply to help students memorise notes, but to help them understand Literature, think critically, express their ideas confidently and achieve their best possible results.
