Hello! I’m  Saajid, an internationally experienced English language teacher and academic leader with 25+ years of teaching experience across Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia and Singapore.

I have taught students from beginner to advanced levels, including Cambridge IGCSE English and Sri Lankan and Singapore GCE O-Level English. I have also worked as a Cambridge IGCSE First Language English Oral Examiner, giving me valuable insight into international examination standards, assessment and what students need to succeed.

My lessons are student-centred, practical and engaging. I focus not only on grammar and vocabulary, but also on helping students communicate clearly, think critically and use English confidently. I adapt my lessons to each learner’s level, goals and learning style, whether they need help with examinations, writing, speaking, comprehension or general English.

I also have extensive experience teaching Young Learners and adults, as well as developing teaching materials and supporting other teachers professionally.

O-Level/IGCSE students are especially welcome, but if you are looking for support at a lower level, such as Primary or lower Secondary, please feel free to enquire. I am happy to consider students who want to strengthen their English foundations and develop confidence from an earlier stage.
