Is FindMyTutor.lk only for O/L and A/L tuition?
Yes. We focus exclusively on Ordinary Level and Advanced Level tuition covering the National, Cambridge and Edexcel syllabuses.
How is FindMyTutor.lk different from other platforms?
Unlike general classifieds or social media, FindMyTutor.lk is built specifically for O/L and A/L tutors. Students searching on our platform are looking specifically for tuition — meaning every enquiry you receive is a genuinely interested student.
How much does it cost to create a listing?
Tutors who register on or before June 30, 2026 can post as many listings as they want completely free until June 30, 2027. Tutors who register after June 30, 2026 will receive one free listing. There are no setup fees, no hidden charges and no commission taken on any classes you book
What is the Early Bird Tutor offer and when does it end?
Any tutor who registers on or before 30th June 2026 gets to list an unlimited number of listings for one year.
How do I create a listing?
Go to findmytutor.lk, click “Add Listing” and follow the steps. It takes less than 5 minutes to complete. No technical knowledge is needed.
How long does it take for my listing to go live?
Your listing typically goes live within 24 hours of submission. We do a quick review before publishing to ensure quality across the platform.
Can I edit my listing after it's published?
Yes. You can log in to your dashboard at any time to update your subjects, schedule, rates, contact details or any other information.
Can I pause or deactivate my listing temporarily?
Yes. If you’re fully booked or taking a break, you can deactivate your listing from your dashboard and reactivate it whenever you’re ready.
How do students contact me?
Students contact you directly using the WhatsApp number or phone number you provide on your listing. All enquiries go straight to you.
Does FindMyTutor.lk take a commission on classes I book?
Never. Any student who contacts you through FindMyTutor.lk is yours. We do not take any commission or percentage of your earnings — ever.
Will my contact details be visible to everyone?
Your contact details will be visible to anyone who views your listing on FindMyTutor.lk. We recommend using a contact number you are comfortable sharing publicly.
Is my personal information safe?
We only display the information you choose to include on your listing. Your account details such as your password and email address are never shared with anyone.
Can I control what information appears on my profile?
Yes. You decide exactly what goes on your listing. Only the information you enter will be shown to students and parents.

Yes, completely free. There are no charges, no registration fees and no commission involved in finding and contacting a tutor through our platform.

How do I contact a tutor I'm interested in?
Every tutor profile displays their contact details. Simply reach out to them directly via WhatsApp, phone or email — whichever they have provided on their listing.
Does FindMyTutor.lk arrange the classes on my behalf?
No. FindMyTutor.lk is a directory — we help you find the right tutor. All arrangements including schedules, fees and class details are agreed directly between you and the tutor.
What if a tutor doesn't respond to my enquiry?
If a tutor is unresponsive, we recommend trying their alternative contact method if listed. You can also report unresponsive listings to us via WhatsApp (+94771402398) or Email (findmytutorlka@gmail.com) and we will look into it.
Are the tutors on FindMyTutor.lk verified?
Tutors are not currently verified. We recommend reviewing each profile carefully, asking tutors for references, and taking advantage of any free trial lessons offered before committing to regular classes.
What if the tutor's information turns out to be incorrect?
