About Me – Sathurshikan Sir | SciZone Academy

Hello! I am Sathurshikan Sir, a passionate Science teacher from Sri Lanka and the founder of SciZone Academy. I am currently pursuing a B.Sc. (Hons) in Medical Imaging Technology at the University of Colombo. My academic background helps me explain scientific concepts accurately and connect classroom lessons with real-life applications.

My Teaching Experience

I teach Science for students in Grades 9, 10, and 11, in both Tamil and English mediums. I also teach GCE Advanced Level Biology. My classes focus on helping students build a strong understanding of scientific concepts, improve their examination performance, and develop confidence in their abilities.

My Teaching Style

My teaching style is student-friendly, clear, and interactive. I explain difficult concepts step by step using simple language, practical examples, diagrams, and easy-to-remember techniques. I encourage students to ask questions freely and make sure they understand a topic before moving on to the next one.

I adapt my explanations to suit each student’s learning level and provide support for students who need extra guidance. My aim is to make Science interesting, understandable, and enjoyable rather than simply memorising facts.

My Teaching Goal
